Well, the good point is that the range of snipe is most important to the scout. The bad point is that the devs somehow thought it was appropriate to lower the range of a lot of attacks.
Also, since when can you only lasso one target at the time for all S/x? When did they change that? Edit: There seems to be a typo in the patch notes. In one set of patch notes it says snipe range increased, in another it says it decreased. What was always the range of snipe? Last edited by Frank327; 03.06.2009 at 16:34.. |

it was decreased. either way it's not so funny anymore. every time they 'balance' us they nerf us further. and aparently they do it each time they think we've gotten used to our current state so it won't be so bad.
this is really funny. we have two range dmg classes. one is the most op, the other is the most up class. -.-

Ever since I started in December you could only lasso one. I think S/R may have been able to lasso more than one at one point but they can't anymore.
I think snipe could have been improved a little better than 10 range, as in the damage department.. |

I must say I barely play my scout at all now. Only when I go to Treasure Trove and that doesn't happen too much.
With each patch the will to log on my scout is less and less. They seem to slowly kill the class. Lasso was always only a one-target skill except Lasso Master on S/R which got nerfed in the "TT fix patch". Snipe range was 250 I think but it does funny damage for a 4-second cast anyway. I hope at least the elite skills will be any good... So far I play mostly as R/S and even started to play my M/K again.

Lol! This is hilarious! Further nerf of the scout? What did you guys do to the GMs to get nerfed like this? haha.

Well from my observation in an average guild of ~100 people there are maybe 3-4 scouts max. In our guild for example I know only 1 or 2 people who are actually still play their scout. S/R I know mostly play their rogues now... You barely see active scouts at all on Macantacht.

Well i dont know ranges for other class elites but i dont care about s/k Purifying Shot having 150 range, since our Repelling Shot already had same range. I like snipe range increase, even though i dont use snipe. Piercieng arrow range decrease was expected by me since it is weird it had longer range then snipe and with range 240 it is out of range any mage can hit (i think). Lvl 40 elite made s/k more usable then before with range 200 disarmament with 240% dps of long range weapon, instant cast and cost of 118 mp (I have 3414 mp). Lvl 45 skill is good and bad same time 10s imune to stun, but 5 min cooldown. So all in all i think my s/k got better after this patch.

hahaha this is getting funny.
I knew Runewaker was retarded. But this? I mean rolling a dise on who to nerf would do the job better than Runewaker. Their stupidity is beyond imagination! |
